Introducing BC's first Bourbon-style Corn Whisky, BRBN.
We have been working hard over these last few years with our grain crew in achieving a successful harvest of Coldstream valley grain corn. With diligent milling, fermenting, distilling and aging we now have what is shaping up to be a fantastically balanced whisky.
The grain corn is grown just west of our Vernon Flagship distillery, and is milled onsite before being fermented and distilled in our state-of-the-art copper pot flavour stills.
After a carefully monitored distillation process, our BRBN whisky is put down to rest and mature in carefully selected American oak casks.

"Our locally-grown, Okanagan BC grain corn and malted barley were milled and mashed on-site at a ratio of 54% corn to 46% barley. Following fermentation and double distillation in our magnificent Adrian copper pot still, the spirits were aged in small, charred American oak barrels. This carefully matured spirit exudes a subtle spiciness along with the suggestion of stone fruits and summer sunshine.
The uniquely Okanagan aromas are enhanced with waves of vanilla, honey, and molasses, along with a light mouth feel of well-balanced oak tannins landing sparingly to challenge the olfactory senses. With this first of it’s kind BC bourbon-style corn whisky, Okanagan Spirits opens a new chapter in Craft Canadian Whiskies" - Peter von Hahn (Distiller of the Year, World Spirits Awards 2013 & 2015)
